First of all, there is no need to compare Drupal with Joomla. There is a heaven of differences between them. Drupal is advanced tool for developers and pros and should not be compared with Joomla which fails at such important points as CCK, advanced image handling, theming flexibility, content types + filtering and displaying them, scalability, security, integrity, QUALITY and INTELLIGENCE of contributed modules NOT QUANTITY (as in Joomla case). .
I am joomla user . I agree that they have issues with the older versions. But buddy have you seen joomla l..5.7. I think most of your Questions will be answered
hmmm you keep uttering the same work drupal is so perfect like made by the perfection himself and joomla is total crap many times. come on where are the concrete proof?
What I see from here is all the things that is there in Drupal is there there in Joomla. And both of them have their own share of goodies and badies.
Give some REAL CONCRETE PRACTICAL UNBIASED reasons..plz
I don’t trust the judgement of people using Internet Explorer and being in webdevelopment.
You’re incorrect about SEF urls: Joomla 1.5 has SEF urls. I can’t believe you used Joomla for 6 years and Never noticed that.
You’re incorrect on Joomla not having any calendar or custom fields plugins.
“nobody uses Joomla” “with joomla you don’t, like, get reply”, dude what?
“Update is so simple,… you just press download it,…just download it to the folder where you have drupal module,..then you just upload it to the server, it so simple,…and then you go under administer, modules, and then you just overwrite the file on the module folder of your drupal website, you have to (unintelligible) the files and that’s it,… sometime you have to run the php update script to update the database,.. ” Really, is it that easy??!!! I’m sold LOL Comic genius!
hi guys, ive only started php , why use joomla ect instead of php , i tried joomla briefly what is the main difference, also can i run joomla and drupal off the same computer
thanks buddy, Drupal is better though, but sometimes you get errors too, but usually it is not a bug, it is just a support request, but usually most of the modules are well maintained.
nice review …I use Drupal . . .i really love it … tho i am trying to learn Joomla as well as i am meant to maintain an already made site built on joomla … keep up the good work …

So, Boris Becker likes Joomla!
joomla is not stable, I’ve had pages and tabs disappear, and the only solution was to start again from scratch
So maaaany bugs are living in Joomla.
I lost so many time trying to fix it.
Switching to Drupal.

4 minutes and 21 seconds into the video and you’ve already convinced me to use Drupal.
Thanks – I like the way you kinda complain about “Joomla”…very funny.
