Hey, Thanks for your lessons, I know HTML, CSS, and PHP, although I could never create a template on PS or export it to HTML. You’re lessons are very clear and ‘to-the-point’, I’ll definitely add your lessons to must-see list. Keep up the good work.
I sliced everything up. I uploaded the html I got from Photoshop, to a site. So far, all I have is a blank page with a bunch of lines.
Hello Ali, I wanted to say “WOW”! Thank you for the clean tutorial and your beautiful site. The slices, as simple as it may have seemed, there is more than meets the eye with this and I wanted to be sure, and you’ve done a great job in bringing me up to speed. Thank you greatly. There is a difference in user slices and layer-based slices, which I think you were doing here, right? Thanks again.

Hi Ali, I was just wondering what the pros and cons are of Photoshop and Fireworks when it comes to slicing. I thought Fireworks was designed for this more than Photoshop? I’d be interested in your opinion.

Please, do you have any tutorial that explains how to take a PSD to Joomla template?
I’ve been looking for an item that shows all the CSS classes and ID Joomla but I could not find it. Can you give me some clue?
Best Regards from Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your tutorials and that I appreciate all the time and effort that you put into helping people. Other tutorials that I viewed went too fast without explaining anything. The way you explain things is great and it helps beginners out on how to understand everything that is going on. So keep them coming and have a nice day!
Hey nanogirl, thanks for your mail. yeh you can slice anything you want. Whatever you slice will be made into an image. So if you want to slice text, i would suggest adding it as html code not an image. Thanks
Ali
Hey ThePtang, cheers for the great comment. Don’t forget to send me a link when you are done as i love to look. Thanks
Ali
